Memo : Lolita Fashion (Fashion of Lolita Style in Japan)

Lolita fashion is a Japanese unique style. It’s said that the original style was born in 80's.

This fashion style received the influence of a colorful and kawaii (cute); like those DC (Designers & Characters) brands, which are "Pink House", "Atsuki Onishi" or "Hiromichi Nakano", etc.

From the mid-80's, girls, who wore lots of accessories with girlish taste, had already been seen in town.

Then, the later half of 80's, an independent designer from a major apparel company’s brand "MILK"  has established some new brands named "Jane Marple" or "Emily Temple Cute". These brands have created an initial image of Lolita Fashion.

And then, other new brands; "Baby, the Stars Shine Bright" or "Heart E" born in 1988, was said to have establish the current Lolita Fashion Style.

In this moment, Lolita fashion has various tastes and different characteristics in each brand.

However, each brand has the common feature; Kawaii (cute), good quality and keeping us interested for long time. This is the reason why Lolita Fashion is loved by many people throughout the ages.
